I applied on the 05 April 2013 for a Telkom adsl line to be installed at my residential address. Lindi at Telkom said that I will receive a sms to say when the line will be installed, since today I did not receive a sms, I called 10210 numerous times and they said that the area that I am staying in is a high risk area for copper but not to worry they are busy installing new cables, today I phoned them again to confirm how far they are with the cables and the lady said to me they cannot install any cables as it will just get again. My wife is very sick and we need a phone very urgent and TELKOM can't HELP us!!! this is definitely not acceptable
