I received a Nokia 920 Lumia when I renewed my contract with MTN after 2 wonderful years. The phone was a dud from the start - freezing intermittently when I took pictures and wanted to send these via Facebook or Whats App and when I switched from viewing pictures to another app - and one cannot take out the battery to reboot it. So everytime that it froze I had to wait for it to unfreeze (sometimes a few minutes). When the freezing did not unfreeze, I took it to MTN. The first time I took it was on Friday 25 January - 5 days into the contract. Shaun @ MTN Vangate had a look at the phone and while he was looking at it, checking those aspects I mentioned, the phone was fine. He saw nothing wrong, and when I said it happens intermittently, he said I should monitor it and bring the phone in if it happens again. Two weeks later it happened again, but I was at work in Cape Town CBD, so I took the phone to MTN at Greenmarket Square. The technician had a look and put in another sim card. The phone stayed off, but when he put in my sim card the phone came on again! And in April the phone died and stayed dead. The rest is per service request 1-7550254215 and 2188180 and 100789478.
