I bought a brand new Nokia Lumia 920 cellphone in January from Vodacom and it has given me nothing but trouble since the day that I turned it on. It randomly shuts down and constantly requires a "soft reset" to start it up again which then messes up the date and time causing me to set the date and time over and over again daily. When I tried to make a phone call the phone's screen would blackout and the only way to get the phone working again was by doing another "soft reset". I heard that resetting the phone to its factory settings solved these problems by a "hard reset" but that just completely destroyed the phone. I am now told by Nokia Care that it will take 2 weeks to repair, which seems unreasonably long! I really just feel as though I need a new phone at this stage or better I would love to change brands. My problem is that I am a student and I am on a fixed 2 year contract with this Nokia Lumia 920 with Vodacom. The phone number displayed is a number I can be contacted on and not my contract number as I have not been given a replacement phone that can take my micro SIM card that I used in the Lumia 920.
