I have just upgraded my Weekend contract to the Smart medium as I need to make calls during the week. After completing the upgrade, I arrived home and received a SMS stating that the upgrade would only be active at the end of the mounth. I contacted customer care to see if I could speed this process up as I need to make calls this week. I was told that it can not be done! Why can't it be active from when the upgrade was done? What about the customers needs? Do customers really matter? Maybe I need to go and cancel it while it's still in the cool off period (Consumer Protection Act)?
