Vodacom is advertising products they do not have

On Monday 27 May 2013 I applied for a data contract with a Google Nexus 7 (MyGig 2 package as advertised in the May Vodacom catalogue). This application was done at the Vodashop in Parow Centre Cape Town The application was approve on the afternoon of that same day. Prior to the application I enquired as to the availability of the device and was informed that availability was 2 to 3 days.
On 28 May 2013 (Tuesday) I went to the outlet to follow up on a delivery date. I was informed that this could not be checked as the manager was the only one with access to the stock report on the computer and he was not at work that day. The sales assistant said that stock was normally received on Friday. After several calls and visits to the store since then the manager still cannot say when the device will be available. On 2 occasions I was promised feedback which did not happen. I have called 3 other Vodacom branches in Cape Town and the device is not in stock anywhere in Cape Town, Vodacom is advertising products which they do not have and are providing poor service. If I do not have the device on 1st June 2013 I will be taking my business elsewhere.
