Have I jumped from the frying pan into the fire?

I, after many years of problems with cell c decided that i could no longer handle the shoddy service [check them out on hello peter] i decided to go with MTN because i have a contract which my wife uses and we have never had problems, and importantly, there is a mtn shop just down the road from my place of work. I went into the shop last friday morning at 09.30, did the neccessary, and was told that everything would be sorted out within 24 hours, 5 days later, and after walking down to the mtn shop every day this week, it seems that there is nothing they can do to sort out the fact that I havent as yet been ported, there is according to the technicians nothing wrong, they just dont seem to be able to port me, The lady in the shop [Jacky] has gone out of her way to try to help me and has said that what i do now is up to me as she has tried to do what she can to help me. Are MTN just as bad a cell c? I am starting to wonder. NO ONE seems to be able to help me with what should be a simple pressing of computer buttons and "bobs your uncle" Now, m I going to get the standard cell c type " we are very sorry about the problem, Vusi will phone you shortly" reply. wherafter nothing??
