I handed in a water-damaged 16 gig black iPhone 4s on 28 December 2012 and asked them to replace it as I did not want it fixed. I was told it would take 10 working days to get a quote and have it replaced. Because I did not have a phone I asked them to email me the quote, and I never received anything. So on the 7th I went physically to Vodacom Repairs in Sandton and was told that the quote was emailed on the 4th and amounted to R2700 to replace the phone (I did not receive any quote). I agreed and asked them to action it and was told that I should come back on in 2 days to collect it. I went back on the 14th only to be told that my phone had gone to 'estimates' at the '3rd party' (whoever that is) so that the 3rd party can check for the damage and yet I had asked for the handset to just be replaced according to the quote I was given. So I was yet again told to come back after 2 days. I went back today (17th) and AGAIN I was told the handset is at estimates. REALLY? Why do they keep sending it back to 'estimates'...I don't want it fixed, I want it replaced according to the R2700 quote I was told by the Vodacom Repairs Sandton employee, thats all vodacom!
