Sim Swopp???

I lost my sim card and called cellc to get a sim swop but I was told that my number belonged to rmcs. In 2011 I cancelled a subscription with them and they told me that my number was off rmcs and now belonged to cell c, but over a year later I am told that my number stilll belongs to rmcs!!!
The procedure is painful as I had to give them an alternative number (which baffles me as my phone is lost and I dont see why they cant assist me when I call) and their turn around time of 48 hours expired on tuesday. I still havent recieved a call from them on my work number and my life has come to a standstill as a result of being disconnected!!!

I just want to be on cell c and get my number working as soon as possible, rmcs is a nightmare to deal with and they dictate to you not caring that 48 hours is absurd to wait for a sim swop wheras a normal number gets swopped in minutes!!!
