Vodacom
Upgrade gone wrong!

I upgraded to the new Blackberry Q10. On receiving it, the phone had an out of box failure.

When trying to contact Vodacom Upgrades, no one wanted to take responsibility for the problem, and I was referred from one department to another, without being able to actually report the problem.

I then went to the Vodacom Shop in my area. According to the contract received on upgrading, out of box failures can be returned to any Vodacom Approved Dealer for exchange. The Vodacom Shop refused to do the exchange, but contacted Vodacom directly to arrange for the faulty phone to be collected from me, and the delivery of a replacement.

After a few days, there had been no delivery of a replacement phone, so I contacted Vodacom Upgrades. They could find no record of the exchange request and logged a new case, giving me a new date for delivery / collection of phones.

After the new date had passed with no delivery / collection occurring, I contacted Vodacom again. I was then told that the service request had been logged, but that it had not been assigned to anyone, and that it could take up to 14 days to be assigned.

Vodacom is in breach of contact in multiple ways, I am fed up and hopeless!
