Upgrade but no working phone

I upgraded my phone via telephone call to Vodacom on the 6th January and was delighted to get my new upgraded Nokia Lumia the next day -delivered by courier. Unfortunately 2 days later the phone just died and wouldnt go back on. I phoned Vodacom to get them to replace the phone as an out of the box replacement. I was put through to 5 different departements, with nobody confirming anything. I then spoke to a lady with the name of Felicia on Friday, the 10th January that said that she would take responsibility to get this phone collected, even giving me the name of the company and contact (Sheppard) that will be arranging the collection. It would take 3 - 5 working days. It is now 9 working days later, still nobody has collected the phone. I have been told by an agent that the call was only logged on the 21st January 2014 that the phone be collected, but by another agent that their is no comment on my account for a collection to be made. I am told by Services, to speak to Upgrades dept and Upgrades direct me to Services to get a call logged, and Customer Care just doesnt give a, because when I ask to speak to Felicia, Rebecca or any other person i have already spoken t
