After using Vodacom for 6 years, I decided to move to Cell C, as they have come out with good deals. 2 weeks ago I went to Cell C Pav to sign up for a Galaxy S4 contract. I understand the phone is in demand & stock is limited, so I specifically asked when they expected stock. I was assured stock was going to arrive on 7 May or latest 8 May & that I was on the list to receive the phone. I asked Ashley again if he was confident with those dates, as I needed to cancel my contract with Vodacom & did not want to cancel early. Again I was assured of those dates & told to cancel on Mon, so that they could port my number on Tues/Wed. This was done, but no call was received on Tues or Wed, so I called them on Wed afternoon & was told stock was delayed. When I did not receive any calls by Fri, I phoned again & again no stock. I have been patiently waiting, but still nothing. Today I phoned again & was told that stock arrived on Sat, but they could not get hold of me, so all stock has been sold. I have not received any calls/messages to date & have been checking. Am now stuck on prepaid after incurring penalties for early cancellation with VCom & no S4. Great service for new client!!
