I applied for an Apple iphone 5 at the beginning of the year and was told that there wasn't stock availaible but they expected deilivery thereof within the next few days or a week at the most. I was told the best way to avoid back log was to pre-sign a contract with them and would receive priority when stock did arrive. I therefore migrated to a prepaid contract with my current service provider in anticipation thereof. I called Cell C a few days later to inquire about the delivery of my phone, it took about 20 min of hanging on time before i could hold of a operator in their follow up department. I was told that stock had not arrived but to hang on, the origional estimate of maximum a week for stock delivery could now no longer be verified. After a few weeks of trying and without much luck of when the stock would arrive, again each call takes about 20 min to get through, i was told today that the phone will now possibly delivered mid February only. I have now decided to cancel my contract with Cell C and look at another service provider. Thanks Cell C, for a waste of a month of my time.
