Shocking service from MTN, missing Vodacom

In early July of 2012 I decided on a Blackberry Bold 9900 from MTN (I guess you get what you pay for). I applied online and received a call from MTN, everything seemed fine. Then the problems started:
1. I opted to keep my number, but on delivery MTN tried to contact me on the same number but they already cancelled it at vodacom, hence me waiting very long to receive my phone. P.S. had to find this out by contacting them
2. The first month I was very happy with the phone and service provider, but after that I started having trouble with the phone (battery lasting - one hour, phone freezing) but as I was in exams, I didn't have time to hand in the phone.
3. In early December/end of November I handed in the phone at the Jacaranda office, having to go back about 3 to 4 times because of different types of ridicules forms, I went on vacation and finally my phone was sent in early January
4.Now MTN said I can receive a refurbished phone (according to my contract within 6months I am supposed to receive a new phone, I first handed the phone in early December/end of November) or pay R 2200 to fix my phone. Bad service right through.
