Applied for Smartinternet 3GB on 03.05.2013 (Telkom Mobile-Johannesburg City). Got a rejection today (14.05.2013). The ground for rejection was that my Passport number does not match my bank account. Was shocked with the outcome because I supplied them with 3 months bank statement and my my passport is the form of my identity whenever I go to the bank. I suspected that the consultant lacked diligence, and efforts to get any manager were in vain. I have other accounts with different suppliers and have never had glitches. The package I had applied for costs only R119.00 per month, and its quite absurd to say I will fail to pay. All I need is to have someone from the same company and re-submit my documents.
