Numbers diverted without authorization

I have two lines with Vodacom 0829982288 and 0829981127 this numbers when dialled, ring twice and then, they sound like they are diverted to another number.
This morning I called 082111 for assistance, the consultant on the other side asks me to swap sim cards on both the phones. I really don't know how that will help, since both the phones are iPhone 5s and they both have the same problem, the software version on this phone is IOS 6.1.4 (10B350)
Honestly I feel as if my conversations are being monitored and listened to, if not why does this happen?
