My daughter got her prepaid sim blocked by typing the wrong pin too many times and having lost her PUK I bought a new prepaid sim card and was told I can just do a sim swap by dialing 100.
After getting through to the agent and not knowing EXACTLY how much money was on the cellnr I was asked for the last 6 numbers she dialled!
After saying that we dont really know but can try and guess we were told that our guesses were incorrect, and unless I can give the correct 6 numbers they cant help me!!!
Now if a phone was, HOW do you know which numbers the dialled?!
As my daughter used BBM most of the time on her BB until it crashed, she has no recollection of numbers dialled.
After voicing my concern and asking if RICA and my idnr cant help, I was told that the operator was in actual fact a TEAMLEADER and the PROFESSIONAL when it comes to sim swaps, and I obviously had no idea how it works as Vodacom dont work with RICA.
So unless you know your EXACT amount in your account (which is not an account with an invoice as its prepaid) Plus knowing the last 6 dialled numbers, you have NO CHANCE to get your number back - as I was informed by the 'Teamleader' and 'Professsional'!
