I sent my iPhone to Vodacom Tygervalley Mall in Cape Town for repairs because it wouldn't switch on. They told me the repairs will cost R2280. If I ask what they detected none of them can tell me what's the problem. I think they are trying to rip me off, obviously there are lots of clients they have robbed in this manner. I'm so disappointed with Vodacom, I don't see a need of renewing my contract with them after 13 years being a loyal contract subscriber. The fact that they detected something means that there is something wrong, why is it difficult to disclose the problem?
The operator on the phone was very nasty and she did not even want to give me her name.
