Terrible service

I pre-registered on all the major mobile networks for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the 8th of April & what astounds me is that Vodacom & Cellc were the first to make contact with me via an actual phone call, not MTN who is my service provider!

I phoned MTN on the 0831808 number (which for once was working might I add) to find out why I haven't been contacted yet & the lady explained to me that the launch was only on the Saturday 27 April & that I would be contacted the following week.

A lady from MTNDirect, Hope, phoned me with a contract renewal offer for the Galaxy S4, I raised some concerns with her regarding the fact that MTN is quite expensive in comparison to Cellc, she said that she would investigate & get back to me later that day, I am still waiting...

The above is part of a complaint (MTNSP REQ:2089239) I logged with MTN on 2 May & I have not heard anything from them, not an email, not a phone call, nothing, so it seems to me like they really don't give a!

I would also like to state that a colleague of mine has experienced the exact same treatment. So it looks to me like MTN have enough subscribers & don't care about losing 1 or 2 here & there to their competitors!
