CellC issued me with a defective Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini when I upgraded my contract in September. The phone has gone back for repairs twice but stiil the battery does not charge. I have given the phone back and CellC refuses to replace it. I thus gave an instruction for upgrade contract to be cancelled because CellC is in breach but this was not heeded. Instead CellC has gone ahead and activated the upgrade in contravention of my instruction. I am thus preparing documentation to lodge a complaint with the consumer protector for the abuse of my consumer rights by CellC. I have instructed my bank not to honour any debit orders by CellC in the interim as my only recourse against the bullying by CellC. The upgrade contract is null and void in the absence of a functional hanset. CellC at customer service!
