A consultant from Elite Mobile called me having full details of the contract I have with Vodacom Direct. We spent about 30 minutes on the phone doing an upgrade on my contract. I found out when they sent me confirmation email about delivery of the phone that they are not from Vodacom direct. I never had phone contract with any third parties. I immediately called them and informed them that I want the deal cancelled because I want to deal with Vodacom Direct not third parties. Now a quotation is lying in the system I am unable to upgrade my phone because they are waiting for the phone to be returned to their shelves. A phone I never received.
Elite mobile is holding me at ransom regarding my contract upgrade which I have with Vodacom. Vodacom is equally wrong in this whole mess. How in the world did they provide my personal details to a 3rd party without my consent. This is unacceptable business dealing. Elite Mobile remove your quotation from the system so that I can buy a phone.
