Telkom non performance again!

We applied to move our telephone/ADSL line to our new home and did this over a month ago. The date for installation at our new home was confirmed for the 3 May 2013. It is now the 3rd of May and when contacting Telkom they say the call was scheduled for the 30 April and that they could not get hold of us because my husband's cellphone number had changed. My husband had confirmed the 3rd as although we were moving out of our old home on the 30th April and the old telephone number needed to be cut on that date, we were only moving into our new home on the 1st May (a public holiday) and the 2nd May would be taken up by attending to the furniture removals. It was thus confirmed on Telkom's system that the installation date was to be the 3rd May. We are now told that they will have to schedule a new date which could be any time in the unknown future! I have a business to run and I already have the IT consultant booked to connect up my computers and network on Monday as I was expecting Telkom to be up and running. Ref no's are 74765971A (old) and Ref 77758746A (new). I have recently had the same problem with another Telkom installation.
