My mother requested Telkom to install a line in her new house well in advance to ensure that she has a telephone in her new house when she moves in. When Telkom came to the house on 19 April 2012 they informed her that here was no cables. They then installed the cables last week. When she asked Telkom when her line was going to be installed they informed her that it will only be done on 8 May 2013. My mother is 80 years old and needs a telephone. Why must she wait for another week if she requested the line way in advance
