Telkom a Complete waste of time

So i have not had a Telkom line for about 2 weeks now and this is only for May... i also didn't have a telkom line for about 3 weeks in April. we still are invoiced for the full amount on a monthly basis though.
Anyway my telkom line was not working for about a week and then it worked, only now we have a new telephone number, which we found out by accident when we checked if the line was working, that we were not aware off. So my husband call telkom, ref 203CRZ250513, and logged a complaint, only to be told that we will have to wait for the proper protocol to have our number re-instated to our line. When asked how and when this happened there were only excuses given. when we asked to speak to a manager there were more excuses given.
I called telkom again on Wednesday and was told it was logged under an area fault because of cables, when I asked how am I connected to another number if the cables have been and there was once again not a suitable answer given. I was told that my query will be escalated and I will be given a call... guess what, I am still waiting.
We keep pay and getting no service... Telkom is a rip off...
