It seems that Vodacom makes it impossible for you to cancel an existing contract with them. I have called twice, the first call lasted for 14 minutes and remained answered - it eventually disconnected, the current call is standing on 14 minutes and it was finally answered. This is totally unacceptable! How many people in SA are wanting to cancel contracts at 9:00 in the morning and how many staff do they have dealing with cancellations. I speak to a lady by the name of Nombisa - who refuses to give me her surname - who clearly does not understand my frustration and tells me to call back 30 days prior to expiry. I then request to speak to a Senior and get told i cant because they are all in meetings. I ask for a reference number for the call and get told to use the time and date - being told its the 2nd of May - Oh really as if i did not know that. I am apalled to say the least!!!
