Tablet not Covered Under Insurance Policy

I upgraded at Autopage Head office Waterfall Park in 2011 and got a HTC Flyer on my contract. The sales consultant upgraded my insurance that was existing on previous hand sets to Insuring 10, 000 so i.e The tablet will be covered in the event of loss or damage for R10, 000.00. My tablet was damaged due to a slip I had and I handed it in at Sandton City on 20Apr 2013.I was told I will receive a call back in 7days to say what the assessment feedback is. On the 29th I had to contact Sandton City and ask the what the feedback is. Never the less after 12 phone calls and being dropped a few times a consultant (Lee) established that somewhere between the courier and Head office the tablet has gone missing. On the 30th also after 8 calls Kevin followed up on my enquiry and I was told they will get back to me. On the morning of the 1st I got a call advising me as a courtesy call that unfortunately the insurance does not cover Tablets but they will refund me my premiums for the last 22 months. I DO NOT WANT MY PREMIUMS REFUNDED.I NEED MY TABLET REPLACED.HOW CAN A HEAD OFFICE CONSULTANT PUT MY TABLET ON INSURANCE KNOWING IT IS NOT COVERED. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ON MY OUTSURANCE POLICY 2 YEARS AGO.
