MY DAD WAS SOLD A CELLPHONE VIA THE TELEPHONE BY VIRGIN MOBILE. THE NORMAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS WERE DISCUSSED WITH HIM. HE ACCEPTED AND WAS GLAD TO HAVE THE PHONE DELIVERED TO HIM. THE CONTRACT AS IT WAS SOLD WAS FOR 24 MONTHS, HE WAS NOT TOLD THAT HE NEEDS TO CANCEL IT WHEN THE 24 MONTHS LAPSES. IT TOOK VIRGIN MOBILE OVER A YEAR TO REALIZE THAT PAYMENTS WERE NOT GOING AND YET THEY KEPT ON DEBITING THE ACCOUNT. AS PER THE CALL CENTRE, THEY CALLED AND SMS'D MY DAD ON 9/01/2012, 13/01/2012 AND EVENTUALLY GOT TO SPEAK TO SPEAK TO HIM ON THE 27/01/2012 WHERE HE TOLD THEM THAT HE THOUGHT THE ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED AS THE 24 MONTHS HAD LAPSED. ON 21022011 THEY WROTE THE ACCOUNT OFF AND LISTED HIM ON ITC... UNBELIEVABLE I TELL YOU!!! HOW DO YOU DO SUCH A THING TO SOMEONE YOU CHOSE TO SELL A PHONE TO??? AS FOR THE BILLING, I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THAT... CAN WE PLEASE HAVE MY DAD'S NAME REMOVED FROM ITC OR HAVE VIRGIN MOBILE TO PROVE THAT MY DAD WAS AWARE OF THE MONTH TO MONTH RENEWAL OF THE CONTRACT TO PUT THIS MATTER TO REST???!!!???
