VIRGIN ACTIVE AGENTS ARE MISLEADING

In February 2013 I decided to join Virgin Active and was contacted by Anita to sign up a contract. I asked her a series of questions before signing up with Virgin Active mainly when is the busiest times and I said that I am only able to train after 7pm in the evenings and that I do not want to have to wait all the time due to over crowding. She told me that 7pm is the best time to train as the busiest time is between 5-7pm. When I wentin on the day to sign up the gym was extremely busy and I asked her before I could sign up if the gym is always this busy and she said "Its only like this on a monday because people feel guilty over the weekend and want to train" I the proceeded. She also told me over the phone that I would ot be paying a joining fee but R100 for the card, when I read through the contract I asked her why she about the joining fee and she laughed and said the system may have made an error, nevertheless I proceeded to sign up as I was eager by the promises made to me as I was in an over crowded gym and wanted a change.
I have visited the club on 3 different occassions and each time was the same result that I had to always wait. I wish to cancel this contract.
