A gym contract does cost a significant sum to most members, health benefits of which outweigh cost. Having a gym membership and not being able to train because the only times convenient to you are the very same times that the gym is extremely over crowded leaving one to not only wait in ques but to forfeit gym time altogether due to time wastage standing around waiting for selfish members to fiddle around on their chosen piece of equipment.
Club salesmen never advise you against joining and never tell you that the gym has reached maximum capacity because once you sign the only way out (now that its too late) is through penalty fee's for the contract cancellation.
I don't suspect anyone in the virgin active hierarchy considers the level of service given to the general public, as long as revenue is flowing, who cares about us right?
