I joined PF through Vitality June2012. I changed medical aids in November2012, thereby losing my vitality and all benefits. I subsequently went on to work for vitality and am quiet well versed with the rules surrounding cancellation before the 12 month period is up. Should the vitality be cancelled before 12months has passed, vitality will cancel the discount and the member is liable to pay full PF rates till the 12months has passed. My 12months was in June. I was advised at the gym that my contract will automatically cancel. I then continued to pay the monthly rates for July and August- at which time I then stopped the debit order as advised by the ROSEBANK GYM. I received a message RE: Planet Fitness Debt Out Period Autorenewal. This advised of further action, leading me to believe that there is an outstanding amount, I think this is completely unprofessional that I would be liable for fees when I was advised that the contract is 12months and will auto cancel. I was then contacted by SAYA Recoveries and explained the above. This happened in December and to date I have received no feedback from SAYA or planet fitess, even after mailing the call centre manager Ravi Suadeo.
