Sales consultant completed forms with me and advised me when to make payment for Vitality package but didnt advise me that there is a clause that if I dont pay the amount for vitality the contract will become a normal membership. I do not have a membership tag nor do I have a copy of the contract as it still with the sales consultant. I called Planet Fitness a few weeks just after signing the contract and advised them I would like to cancel and was then only advised that as much as I havent paid the vitality amount I still have to continue with the contract. This was approximately 5 months ago, I then enquired with the sales contact centre about this and was advised that I now need to pay a cancellation fee for the months. I further requested them to confirm as I didnt have a tag nor had I paid the initial sign up fee and that I was not advised of this at the time. Now for the past 2 months Planet Fitness is debiting my account for R250 but I'm not a member (not tag & contract copy). Its very poor taste of you Planet Fitness to lock members in this manner as it unprofessional and your sales team dont advise/confirm all the fine details. I'm not a member and request feedback!!
