I am not an exercise person, but I was convinced by Virgin Active salesmen to open an account at Virgin Active. Promised that I will be shown the ropes and that someone will work out a program for me, catered to my specific needs. He guaranteed me that it is actually in their best interest to help me, because if I am happy and exercising I would be more likely to renew my contract. I was very impressed and enrolled.
I have spoken to 3 different people, plus a manager, and I'm still clueless.
The last guy said that its not their job, and that the sale people should stop telling people that.
After much persistent asking on my part, he showed me floor exercises "that I should do at home, because people at the gym would think that you are crazy".
What the? I'm at a gym, asking you to show me exercises, and you show me things to do at home?
He kept on wanting to work out an eating plan for me. I kept on asking for exercises. Later steering the conversation to that I heard your suppose to exercise different muscle groups a day. Asked if he could show me how the machines work. He showed me the pictures and said that they show how to use it and the muscles used.
I'm NOT renewing!!!
