Warning to all Vitality members

My wife wanted to activate a PF membership through vitality, after signing the contract she was advised that the Pilate's class had been cancelled. I phoned discovery and advised them that we will not continue with the membership as per the class cancellation, the consultant noted the none activation on the system and gave me a ref number. Three months later we noticed that PF had been debiting our account with the full PF fee. After numerous calls and emails I was basically told that it states in the terms and conditions that PF will activate a normal membership if the Vitality membership is discontinued. This was not told to us by PF or Discovery, I wonder why? I know why because people hardly ever read the fine print because one trusts the consultant to verbally explain all the important details of the contract, but why would he do such a thing? Then they will not get the money form the unknown "members"!
Thank you Discovery and PF, I will make sure that I warn as many people as I can.
