Frozen membership but get debited full amount

I froze my Virgin Active membership a few months ago and told them I will reinstate my membership once I'm ready to do so. They agreed and have been debiting R89.00 monthly for the frozen membership which I agreed to. This month I see a debit order for the full amount of R299.00!!! I did not agree to the full membership fee! Who gives you the right to go ahead and debit my account with whatever amount you feel??? I want my money refunded or I will take legal action. If you are thinking of joining this gym consider other options, there are many other gyms out there that have integrity and aren't trying to rip you off!!!
