Membership no. 35612248 & membership no. 36261286: I have cancelled these memberships on 3 Nov & 10 Nov, only to be debited again with an amount of R477-23 on 30/11/13. This time for the full membership amount, which I also can't comprehend as I have been a Discovery Member, but at the same time as cancelling my membership with Virgin Active, have cancelled my membership with Discovery. I have instructed my bank to reverse the amount debited on 30/11/13. I have my receipts as confirmation of membership cancellation and can fax these through should need be. I have been told by your Admin Manager at Gants, Strand, that I must pay pro rata? Pro rata for what? I have paid enough to get me started in the beginning. I was told by one of your consultants, that I need to give 20 days notice and that that would be sufficiennt to cancel my membership, which I have done. Please sort out your records and make sure that I am cancelled as a member and make sure no debit to be deducted from my account again. I owe you nothing.
