I decided to join a gym and I went to enquire at Escape Gym in Umhlanga. Big dissapointment. First of all I was accompanied by my husband who happens to use another health club but the gentlemen who was "assisting me" kept on insisting that he also joins this gym. Not only did he not give me a chance to talk but he kept on going on and on about the specioul prices he can offer if I can just swipe my card there and there. At some point he ran out and came back with his manager who also went on about how both of us should sign up and swipe our cards for this once in a lifetime ofer bla bla. We were finally fed up and left only to find another employee of that gym waiting outside and he then followed us into the shops harrasing us asking us how much the previous guy had offered us and claiming he could offer us cheaper membership. I understand that this is a commission based job but throwing in a little customer care wouldn't hurt. I am utterly disgusted by such behaviour ands I will not be signing up to train in such an unprofessional establishment!!!
