My Planet Fitness contract was about to expire and I gave my letter to them on 1 August 2011 stating that I want to cancel my contract. My contract states that I need to give 30 days notice and August has 31 days. So I gave my 30 days notice. Planet Fitness still debited my account on 1 September. I had it cancelled at the bank. A few months later I received numerous calls from a Saya recoveries about the outstanding amount. I have explained the situation numerous times and even phoned Planet Fitness and they agreed to pass the credit, which never happened. And of course the person I spoke to doesn't work there anymore. Today I got a call that Planet Fitness is taking further steps to recover the R301 (now escalated to R422.81). As I told them on numerous times, I refuse to pay this as I have not broken any rules or policies. They in fact should be sued for harassing me and making me waste my precious time in typing this complaint.
