I cancelled my Planet Fitness contract within the stipulated time frame, followed the instructions to cancel my contract and received a cancellation reference number but I am still being debited for an amount of R485. When I called the club to ask why I was debited, they said they had to find out from Head office admin what the status of my contract is. I don't understand why it is so difficult to process a simple cancellation. I initially had a Discovery contract and when I cancelled it in September, I was never told that the contract would default to the full Planet Fitness fare. So, I was forced to pay for a service I did not want or use since September.
Planet Fitness Bedfordview promise that they will follow up and advise on your queries but never do. You have to chase after your own money, and its not cool!!!
