At Richards Bay, there is only one Virgin Active facility where I really enjoy a good workout at least 5 days per week.
I'm one of the members who really enjoy the 1-hour cardio classes called V-box which are being delivered by the very very capable, desciplined, and passionate instructor, Mxolisi.
Unfortunately this guy is quiting now in June just because of the disagreement on his pay increase.
Believe you me this guy is a crowd-puller and most members old and new really gain a lot from these classes. Because there is no competition for Virgin Active here in Richards Bay, this Branch Manager doesn't care about how we as paying members feel about Mxolisi's departure. Because of his selfish attitude / reasons it's easy for this Branch Manager to just show Mxolisi the door. I dont have any idea how much Mxolisi is paid but if this was my business he would have been one of the highest paid Instructors in this facility. His classes are always jam-packed to such an extent that some members are stopped by other instructors to come in just to prevent overcrowding inside the studio. I challenge the Virgin Active SA Leadership to investigation this please.
