In March members were notified that there was a leak in the pool which needed to be repaired and this would take 1 week. Members were requested to use pools at other gyms while the pool was being repaired. A week later another sms was sent out informing members that the pool had not been repaired and that another week was needed by the gym to rectify the situation. This occurred for another 2 weeks. Its all very well being allowed to use other gyms but it is inconvenient to the member!
Tonight after having not swum for a while I went to the gym and was confronted by a sign informing members that there was a problem with the temperature which needed to be sorted out and that any other gym could be utilised in the meantime (I did not receive a sms informing me of the situation as I did previously). I swam anyway as I don't mind colder water. When I left I asked when and how long the pool would take to repair but the employees could not give me an indication. I was also told that in fact there was another leak and it wasn't only the temperature control that needed fixing. Apparently Sandton gym which is the next closest gym to me is also having its pool repaired. Unacceptable!
