My first job was based in fourways mall, then i visited the gym and was persuaded into joining, biggest mistake and regret. I cancelled after a year even faxed my letter to head office. I gave them a months notice as stated in the contract and paid the required amount. I used the gym only once in 2005 but now am harrased to pay -R11000. Iv had a three year membership with planet fitness and
cancelling there was a breeze. I wanted to join virgin active like
my fiance as they have facilities near us but i doubt i would ever put myself in such trauma again. Theyi dont have an ear or any type of understanding for their clients whether you are moving or are no longer working, they don't care... we are mere cash cows to them.
