I replaced 2 tires on 23 April 2012 (Yokohamas A-Drives) with TWT. Alignment and balancing was done on that day and I opted for their tire guarantee (which you pay for per tire).
20 April 2013 I went to another suppliier to fit another 2 tires, on the back, and was informed that the Yokohamas where badly worn to the side (both wheels, inner thread gone). The Toe-in of the vehicle was horribly out of spec so I wanted to claim insurance since it was TWT that did the alignment on them. (12000-15000km later)
The informed me to go to as the alignment was not done after 7500km (Which I was not told of and did not know it would void my warranty) and that the tires where already worn out of their life (What tire lasts only 12000km?!) They informed me that they would not honor their insurance policy and everything is on my own cost.
NOTE: I am not an aggressive driver
This is ridiculous since it is ~R2000 a tire for the Focus ST.
TWT will never see me again. They have only excuses and don't deliver. I had to phone them back today to hear what they had to say after the incident was discussed on 20 April. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service (or lack thereof)!
