Returning item headache

As a valued customer, I have purchased many times at the Northridge branch.

However, today I returned a t-shirt I bought yesterday with my Samba card.

The staff were extremely difficult and unfriendly.
The lady in charge, I think here name is Suzette, indicated that no cash/card refunds are done, only vouchers.
When I indicate that I want a card refund, she became very difficult and mention that it is a lot of paper work and that she had to get authorisation from her regional manager.
She tried to call him with no success. (or at least that is what she told me).

As you are probably aware, no where in the store or on the till invoice it is indicated that Tekkie Town only refund in vouchers.
In terms of the consumer protection act I belief to be correct in requesting a cash/card refund.

Please, either speak to your staff or clearly indicate only voucher returns will be issued.
