07 Jan 2013 - Purchased m Whirlpool 6th Sense Jet Chef Microwave at Dion Wired. 08 Feb - Jet Chef Microwave stopped working. 12 Feb - Took microwave back to Dion Wired and they lodged a service call. I received an sms from Whirlpool informing me that a service call had been logged and that I should call them if no response within 8 hours. My Ref was S000286006. 14 Feb - Technician, Andy arrived and after checking the microwave he informed me that the motherboard had gone and he would order one from America and it would take 6 weeks. 09 April - I called Whirlpool Services and received a similar sms to that of 12 Feb Ref S000299660. 18 Apr - I called Whirlpool Services again, Ref S000301945. I called Andy on 22 Apr and was told the motherboard had not arrived yet. I am of the opinion that this is unacceptable. In the event that a part has to be obtained from America, the client should either be given a new microwave, especially in the case of where the article purchased is relatively new, or given the loan of one to use in the interim. It has been more than 2 months that I have been without the use of a microwave..
