Two weeks ago, my mother in law bought a leather lounge suite worth R25 000 from the Atterbury branch. On the day of delivery, they contacted her to say that they wont be able to deliver her couches as the truck is on its way to Nasrec to the Easter Show and that they will deliver the next day only. A day later, the stock was delivered only to discover that they delivered one incorrect couch. She ordered 2 x two seaters. They delivered 1 x two seater and 1 x 3 seater - they did not even look the same??? It has been two weeks now and the exchange was cancelled twice now - and no one is able to give an answer as to why it was cancelled and by whome!! No one contacts you to inform you that they not delivering. They just dont pitch! To me this is pathetic service. We will NEVER do business with Rochester again. Their furniture dont come cheap and the service is shocking/poor/pathetic/unacceptable!! A promise was made (after yet ANOTHER phone call) that the couch will be swapped tomorrow morning first thing. Seeing is believing!
