2 years ago I had lost my job fell into arrears with my account. I went Canal Walk Edgars to settle the amount that was outstanding on my account (17/10/2013 @ 19:29:13). Manager nor the teller mentioned to me that my account was blocked. On the 24 Dec 2013 my brother and I had gone to Canal walk Edgars to purchase him a pair of jeans only to findout I cannot purchase because my account is blocked!!! I had gone to customer care only Noubiswa told me she needs a bank statement before she can do anything, costing me money to go draw a statement from the self koisk @ absa and go back to edgars for Nobiswa to look at it and give it back to me. edcon/edgars were sure to bill me for my clubcard membership (R46) a month when my account is blocked and cannot use it - yesterday I phoned edgars clubcard to make sure my clubcard is activated for the movies the lady told me its all in working order I can go to the movies only to find out that my card is not activated at the cinema. I cannot believe this pathetic service from edgars - they quickly want ur money but don't give u the standards of there services
