I went to return a shirt that I had purchased 2 weeks ago. While ironing the shirt my wife noticed flaws in the material. I was subjected to a myriad of accusing questions - did I wear the shirt and hook it, did it not get torn in my washing machine, did my dog not rip it. I was utterly disgusted with these questions. A rip looks very different to a flaw in the material. I was made to feel as if I was trying to them. I do not expect this from a high-end retail store.
The way in which the staff spoke to me was as if I was at fault. At no point did they apologise, or take responsibility, for the fact that they had sold me a faulty product. In fact, it was thrown in my face that all their shirts are quality checked and that I must have been the cause of the flaws in the shirt.
I did received a replacement shirt but was still appalled at the service I received.
