Not allowed to use my clubcard vouchers

I received two clubcard cashback vouchers sometime ago. I tried to use them at the Eastgate store and was given one voucher back as i was told i could not receive such a large amount of change from a voucher - i then paid cash to cover the difference of the one voucher and kept the second voucher for future use. The cashier at the Eastgate store confirmed that there would be no problem. However, I tried to use the second voucher at the bright water commons store this afternoon and it did not work. The cashier said there was nothing she could do so i had to pay cash for my purchase. I feel this is a and not a loyalty scheme because on both occassions i was tricked into using cash instead of using the vouchers owed to me. I want the money for the voucher given to me since i was forced to use cash instead of what was owed to me. I have been a loyal clicks customer for many years and feel it unfair that i have been tricked out of my money in this way.
