REFUSED TO ASIST WITH QUERY WHICH IS NOT MY FAULT

I have been to the clearance sale yestreday at the durban dc and purchased for R10000-00 and i bought a cast iron patio set which was not stable as advised by consultant that i ned a frame to strengten bottom and LEGS are WEAK-it was standing on its legs but wobbling and on loading in vehicle 1 leg was broken off and after consulting consultant and manager no joy received they refused to asisst and stated items sold as is voetstoets (this si rediculous) as ther is no such thing as voetstoets in the new consumer act and the advert in paper stated house & mhome massive clearance sale and all items with warranties on purchase so WHY ARE THEY NOW REFUSING TO HELP
PLEASE ASIST ME IN THIS MATTER AND I ALWAYS SUPPORT YOUR GROUP AND THIS IS NOT FAIR ON CUSTOMERS SIDE SURELY THE COMPANY CAN STILL REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY EVEN IF THER IS A SMALL CHARGE ON THIS BUT NOT TO BLUNTLY TELL A CUSTOMER TO GO TO AFTER PURCHASING AND PAYING AS MY DRIVER CAN POINT OUT YOUR OWN STAFF FROM DC WHO STATED THE LEGS WERE A PROBLEM AND NOT DAMAGED DUE TO MY NEGLIGENCE.
