Arriving at the highly advertised Edgars Sale on 25 Jan, I found that many of the 'sale' items were not marked as such, making it difficult to identify the sale items. At least 3 staff confirmed that items under the sale signs were on sale even though they were not individually marked. When i wanted to pay for one of those items, the cashier said the item was not on sale and called the manager. Manager evenutally returned stating that only some items were on sale. As such, after identifying an item (time), trying it on (time), waiting in the queue (time) and waiting at the cashiers for the manager (time), we find out that not all the items 'under the sale signs' are indeed on sale. This says a lot about the Edgars marketing team and impacts on customer dissatisfaction and mistrust, not to mention that a friend got the SAME item on sale the day before at 50% off at the SAME store which is incidentally the reason I was at the sale in the first place. Several other customers were also complaining about the same issue. I feel I should get the same discount as my friend got for the said item due to the fact it was on a sale rack.
