I was adviced I'ld be refunded at another branc

I saw a luggage/travelling bag I was interested in at Sandton City Fraser store on Wed 13/03/2013 around 3pm. It was the last one they had, with scratches and faulty handle and since I reside in Pta I was ok that another be sourced in Pta & surroundings, in an immaculate condition. One was found at Brooklyn Mall and I was referred to a sales assistant by the name Futhi in Brooklyn. It was suggested I pay for the item in Sandton City branch and just produce proof of purchase to collect at Brooklyn the following day Thurs 14th/03/2013. I had asked what if I am unhappy with the condition of the one in Brooklyn to which Sithembiso responded that I would be able to be refunded at that store. When I arrived at Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon the bag I had to pick up was in a worse condition than the one in Sandton City in terms of scratches. Futhi then told me that she had mentioned that to Sithembiso when he called the previous day. When I then asked for my refund, Futhi claimed that the refund can only be done at original store of purchase as I had bought it cash - which begs the question on CPA and refunds. Still awaiting Anita from their H/O to return my call since yesterday afternoon
